Tammara Brown is based out of Southeast Louisiana Area Health Education Center (AHEC). She works with teachers and students in West Baton Rouge, Lafourche, and Jefferson Parishes.
Tammara received a BA in Elementary Education from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Juris Doctor from Loyola College of Law. She has experience teaching preschool and working as a Family Advocate for the Head Start program. Although she gained invaluable knowledge in law school, she wanted to work with children and understands the role that health plays in establishing healthy and productive communities. Tammara hopes her work will inspire students, teachers, and families to make healthier choices at school and at home.
