Robin Baker, BS, MBA
Robin baker currently serves as EMG’s Education Coordinator as well as the Seal-A-Smile Administrative Assistant. After graduating from LSU and working in Premier Bank’s marketing department for several years, Robin became a stay-at-home mom to spend more time with her three active children. She valued physical activity and her children maintained an active lifestyle which included sports and dance. As the Seal-A-Smile program expanded eight years ago, Robin was added to the EMG staff to help with the administrative needs of our growing dental program. She has assisted in planning and coordinating in-school dental clinics in five parishes: Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, and Evangeline.
When the EMG program was developed, Robin assisted in grant writing and curriculum development. She visited many schools in south Louisiana to observe their PE programs, assessing the unique needs of various schools in rural areas. Robin uses the experiences and knowledge she has gained as a member of our team to lead an active lifestyle of her own. Her favorite physical activities include taking brisk walks around the LSU Lakes and practicing yoga a few times each week. She feels that physical activity and a nutritious diet are the keys to a long, healthy life. Robin is certified in American Heart CPR & First Aid and has completed the NIH certification for Protecting Human Research Participants.
