Introduction 2
The Early Learning course introduces students to the Five 'n Jive concept, Ali the Alligator and completing children's initial health screening. Under each activity title are the goals of the activity as well as the needed materials. Remember that children learn best through experiences and play!

Our Bodies 2
In the Early Learning Our Bodies lesson, teachers explain how things grow (i.e. plants, animals, people), teach the general parts of the body, introduce the Word Wall and Initial Vocabulary, have children move to different music tempos, show children how to experiment with different movements as they move like animals, and more.

My Senses 2
In the Early Learning My Senses lesson, teachers will introduce each of the 5 senses with a separate activity, review the number five for introducing the five senses, incorporate math graphs and charts as children study their eye colors, sort and create patterns and more!

Nutrition 2
In the Early Learning Nutrition lesson, teachers will discuss the role of fruits and vegetables in a person's diet, place food items in corresponding sections of a poster-size food pyramid, introduce the topic of nutrition and the food pyramid by using a puppet, and more.

Physical Activity 1
In the Early Learning Physical Activity lesson, students will review the Five 'n Jive exercises, practice different movement activities, revisit Ali the Alligator, learn about three kinds of physical activity, and more.

In the Early Learning Dental Health lesson, teachers will introduce students to Jack Plaque Puppet, review why our teeth are important, encourage them to take pride in their smiles, incorporate movement activities with Jack Plaque, introduce dental concepts, and more.

In the Early Learning Hygiene lesson, students will be introduced to bath time as part of the hygiene routine, encouraged to use soap, taught how to wash their hands effectively, taught a song to remind them of all the components of handwashing, and more.
