In the 5-2-1-0 course, students will be introduced to the 5-2-1-0 concept. Each number represents an important guideline that children should follow to keep their bodies and their minds healthy. Learning what each number represents will help them remember daily tips to being healthy.
GRADE LEVEL EXPECTATIONS
- 5: Understand the importance of eating at least five vegetables and fruits each day.
- 2: Understand the importance of having two or less hours in front of a screen (whether that’s a television, cell phone or other device)
- 1: Understand the importance of engaging in at least one hour of physical activity every day!
- 0: Understand the importance of having zero sugary drinks
